Seriously? You get asked once to pick a folder to analyze and clean, and then after that you’re stuck with it. There is no obvious option for it in any case.
I’ve been getting the beach/Beaceah/Bit$h Ball lately on my 2011 i5, The HD says 38. something available and this prgram does a great job at cleaning fast, and if you don’t really need them, and have two + copies, get rid of it. But heres the thing, I used to upgrade every 2 years, sell mine, get a newness, for basically nothing working for apple with selling mine (2 years old, getting new one), anyway, the i7 Macbook Pros are pretty cool. And have been waiting and waiting and waiting for Mac Pro - they need to go back to the bigger form factor and start adding a cable conector of fibre obtics as everone is using their PC’s to record and or TV OLEDS, but contoled by computer - - Apple needs to bite the bullet in two places and I need help in one. While I was the one in the RUMOR groups saying that the new FCP looks like iMovie on Steroids, and 3 more versions came out until the one my friend saw, I reported on (used to be an inquier contributionioer all the time), they have to let Apple TV GO OR ADD A CABLE FOR Satellite and they have to go back to the larger form factor so they can get over the heat problems and start adding more powerful 18/20 cores CPUS, although some of the MACBOOK PROS flew as of late, still slow in areas, and would like to see a iMac i7 6 core, or 10 even, but the Mac Pro has got to come back to the large awesome, one of a kind, like no other, STEEL CAB, That said, another person on the campus mistakenly asked me how the 32 core CPU was comeing along, that was a year ago, so, 32 core, 64 virtual? What are they up too, I need a new pro - time to go back to Pro’s, creatives, One to One = Color Correction, Adobe, if you know, you taught, Motion, FCP, Logic, and not emails over and over, and they should have kept the website program, that had promise, add editing the images in the templates or replacong and you have a cool website, make it free, have MADE BY APPLE SOFTWARE, pay, $19.999 to get it off! 100 of 1000 of templates. What I need help in is since this is the longetst I have ever gone with a MAC, PCs were ever two years, as I Over Clocked them, which is what Hack nTosh are doing getting 8-20 core 4.5 air cooling, passive NO FANS? WHAT? But a guy over at Di No LA, said about 5 years is all you want to give the life of the HD, swap for a 2 TERA SSD and he can replace the i5 with SkkyLake, not sure I’ll get the 3.0 thunderbolt, don’t think thats offered yet, but with the room I have left, should I be seeing the BEACH BALL? What should the FREE HD SPACE BE ON A 1 TERA or % (probably better) and do you have to defrag or do the scripts and products like Oynx take care of it?! Thanks great and best fastet cleaning program I EVER SAW , disk diag, would like to see, added DEFRAG! Attn: Editor in Chief, if the part about my friend and the 32 core you want to take out, do what you must for the entire thing, although I do ned anwsers about defrag. Thanks Editors, feel free to edit. Hope you won’t but still - -it’s been a long time, nothing this year and you might hurt bad as WINDOWS is 1 OS now, no more 50 brands, just 1. Peace
Great app!!! Good job guys. That what you need to clear all cache and other trash from your Mac with 1 click. Thank you!
You cant go wrong with this App and its Free to boot. I tried so many manual methods of cleaning up my Macbook and this saves me all the pain. Ohh did i mention its FREEE !!!! I have to give props for this app because it does what it claims it will do.
It quickly removed caches and other files that are slowing it down,
There I was, trying to launch a game I downloaded from Steam. The file was corrupted suddenly. I tried to re-download the game, but a little window popped up on my monitor. It said something along the lines of, “Hey, you don’t have enough space for this”. I tried deleted “essential” apps from my computer. But they refused to become obsolete. So I turned to the great Google for advice. An artlice had mentioned this app to clean my hardrive. I searched the app and found it was a mere $2.99. Ehh. Not so bad. Especially if it does an exceptional job. So I installed Disk Diag. Immediately the window pops up to begin my computer’s assessment. So I begin the search thinking it will return with maybe “2 GB Free” or, “You’re screwed, get another portable hard rive”. But instead, this app found 73.89 GB files which were to be considered useless. I briefly leafed through the different files it found. I kept some it found, but was ready to part with teh rest. Then, I hit ‘Done’. Immediately the app started tossing my selected files. Within 15 seconds, I had a free 73.89 GB on my hardrive. It’s freeing really. It’s Limitless.
I let Disk Diag run for two hours on a Macbook Pro running an i7 with 16 GBs of ram. In two hours it produced nothing but a spinning graphic. I’m disappointed I paid for something that clearly doesn’t work.
Use only this.
I’ve had this app for awhile, usually cleaning up small amounts of data. Just recently I maxed out my SSD. I dont keep much stuff on my computer so that was really surprising. This app helped me find a bunch of random .xmf files of total 15.53 GB. I knew I had to write this right after. Its amazing. Its also a nicely designed app. I recommened this to anyone.
Does a great job finding the parasites that lurk in the shadows slowing performance.
This is a fantastic app. It is easy to use and effective. I got it when it was free, but it is definitely worth paying for. I would suggest buying the $9.99 version, since this version is $5.99 when it isn’t on sale. Go to daisydisk.com. The $9.99 version offers more features, like finding out exactly what is on your hrad drive, opening it in finder, and letting you delete what you need to delete.
This app is a necessity for MacBook Airs with small solid state drives. It will empty trash so be careful if you retrieve someting every so often. Keep in mind that it will not delete unneeded back-up info from Time Machine that ends up on your hard drive. That requires temporarily turning off Time Machine, restarting and turning it back on.
Seems to do a quick and enjoyable scan for the files you always forget are there. And deletes them for you if you want.
i will use it all the time!!!!
