It does a great job of cleaning up that hard-to-find caches folder as well as numerous other locations where OS X and apps store their data seemingly forever. It should be an essential part of every power-user’s utility portfolio. The price is inexpensive for what it does and it can help prolong the life of SSD flash drives by freeing up blocks for wear-levelling.

I have been using this app for a few months and I have to say, so far, so good. Its fast, dependable and does not take up a lot of space. I would suggest to give it a try for yourself and see what you think of it. I, for one, am very satisfied so far. :) :)

This is a trivial, yet useful app in that it calculates the space used by a bunch of predefined “junk” folders, and lets you empty them with one click. Sure, I could do the same with a shell script, but this is even easier and sufficient for my needs.

This app is just plain AMAZING. I had so many bogus files on my Macbook Pro and it cleaned 4.8GB of just application leftovers!! Thank you Disk Diag! You saved my Mac’s life! :)

This was simple and easy to use. It cleaned about 700mb of stuff I didn’t know was there but sometimes restarting your Mac can get rid of lots of things too.

This app cleans stuff that you wouldn’t know how to get rid off otherwise like downloaded mail, browser cache, etc. I use it regularly and will typically regain 3 to 5 gigs of disk space. Use it with Onyx and a duplicate files finder (there are many good ones) and you’ll be a happy camper.

Following a OS X upgrade, 150gb was used… freed up only 2gb

It does it’s job. It’s small and easy to use.

Ran the scan, had only 5.19 GB left on my drive. Disk Diag said it could free up an additional 2.2 GB. Cleaned-up, Disk Diag said it worked but when I did a Get Info on my disk to see, it says I have a total of… 5.19GB! :-(

This app is fantastic!! It clears up a lot of memory!!

This program suggest “unneeded files”, which is completely wrong many times. If I listened to this I would have permanintly deleted half my critical work! Be Careful!!!

Its nothing extravagent but works to get rid of pretty obvious stuff needlessly consuming space. I recommend it.

Ultra simple, perfectly reliable way to clean up your hard disk.

I couldn’t find a way to clean up my Mac’s start up disk, , and this app did all, easely and free. I highly recommend it for people like me, who are not too computer savvy. Well done.

Love this app!! Its part of my weekly mac maintenence and so happy with it. I clears all the junk and cache data in a matter of seconds. PLUS its FREE!!! I would recommend the duplicate finder too just to remove any duplicate files. Overall great app :)
